The Early Years

I learnt the A to Z of Aquatics, everything from cleaning aquariums and creating the best environment for tropical fish. As well as checking and maintaining clean water-filters.  Most importantly, how to safely remove and care for the new offspring, and how to breed the adults.  Lastly, to how to expertly construct aquariums from scratch.

At around 16 years of age, I built my first personal aquarium which had pride of place in my bedroom, it measured approximately 6′ in length and was home to many beautiful tropical fish species, a water chameleon and water snails which helped provide a perfect eco-system.
