The Cape Peninsula

at the Tip of Africa

We wanted to give our guest viewers a glimpse of our collection of personal family photos of

our magnificent city of Cape Town and environs over the years, showcasing Table Mountain, voted

 ‘The Eighth Wonder Of The World’, and its majestic Cape Peninsula of mountainous land that juts out southward

between ‘The Two Oceans‘ namely, the warm Indian Ocean to the east, and cold Atlantic Ocean to the west.

The ‘Cape Point Nature Reserve’ with its coastal road loops around this picturesque narrow peninsula of land

~ is a National Heritage site ~ and culminates at Cape Point with its famous Lighthouse, a restaurant and public

footpaths along scenic coastal walks where the meeting of the two oceans can clearly be seen;

together with Penguin Beach in Simon’s Town on the eastern seaboard of the False Bay coast,

Chapman’s Peak on the western Atlantic seaboard, and the Stellenbosch, Paarl & Franschhoek winelands

of the ‘Boland region’ are some of the most popular tourist attractions in the world!
